Wow! Loved Last Night!

The group last night at Suzanne Roberts' was amazing! God pushed us from the very first, starting out with "a random Scripture reference" - And I'm still amazed at the encouraging words that God was able to give from Amos 4:1, and Judges, & Job!  Who would of thought you could get an encouraging word out of those passages!!! Way to go! You all really pushed the envelope and really risked and it was fun! God's Presence was wonderful, too!  I'm getting rocked, just thinking about it!

Again, no Thursday night, but feel free to bring friends (or come for yourself!) who need prayer to Riverstone Church (2005 Stilesboro Road Northwest, Kennesaw, GA 30152) for Night of Healing Prayer!

Tuesday On, but Thursday Off

Tuesday we'll be meeting at Suzanne Robert's per usual, but Thursday is Night of Healing Prayer at Riverstone, so we'll meet next week, but because of a scheduling conflict, we'll not be meeting at the Russ', but at the Turley's at 4359 Walnut Creek Dr NW, Kennesaw GA 30152 at the usual time (always look at the sidebar for events).  See you there!

Prophetic Resources - Books & Teachings

When reading or studying or listening to anything on the prophetic, you have to prepare yourself for the fact that there is a lot of apparently contradictory information out there.

One example is that Graham Cooke, a well-known and respected teacher states emphatically that all (New Testament) prophecy is to confirm.  While Kris Vallotton who is just as well-known and respected states the exact opposite that to assume that all NT prophecy is confirmation is totally wrong.  Who's right? I could give you my opinion, but the point is that in many ways...they're both right.

But how is that possible? Ask Holy Spirit! :) The spirit of religion tries to make non-essential truths something that you have to die for, either you're right or your wrong, if you're wrong, you're deceived and evil. That is not the Holy Spirit.  Hearing God's voice and acting on it is not a science, nor is it law, rather it is an multi-dimensional relationship with Someone who is Infinite, which varies at least slightly from person to person.  So what is ALWAYS the case with one person might not be with the next. Or the truth (or the TRUTH - because it is a Person! John 14:6), might just be bigger than our rules and principles!

To that end, I'm going to be listing books and audio/video teachings here from time to time as good resources to turn to as you grow in hearing God's voice. And I do not intend for you to agree with all that is in these books or teachings (I certainly don't), but recognize that you're wise enough (He who is Wisdom is in you if you have Jesus!) to be able to with Holy Spirit discern the Truth (1 John 2:20-27).

Great Meeting - Testimony - Good Resource - Next Week

"Bring a Friend" night at the Russ' was a roaring success...in that it turned out that we were all friends and everyone who came already had already experienced a Prophetic Activation with us! ;) Oh, well...but as we were going there last night and I was wondering if any of our regulars would show or if we'd be overwhelmed (or underwhelmed) by friends wanting prophecy, He just whispered, its' going to be good and everyone who's supposed to be there will be.  We only had about 10 of us, and that was good! Because we've found that the smaller the number the more people participate and the more people are willing to risk.  It felt really safe and the number of really accurate powerful words was amazing!  God was targeting the lies that we believe about Him, that we've just learned in life, and releasing the Truth of who HE is over them.  It was powerful.

TESTIMONY
I have a skin condition in my face where when I'm stressed my cheeks become red and scaly and because of stress at work, they've been really bad.  I received three or four words from people who knew nothing of this that so penetrated my heart that when I got home and looked in the mirror I was shocked that my face looked normal (which it never goes away that fast!!!).  But then I realized that I was so at peace and fully of joy, that it wasn't a wonder! God is good!

By the way, I woke up to the ElijahList sitting in my email mailbox as usual and this word from Mahesh Chavda seemed like a really good resource on hearing God.

So...next week Tuesday at the Suzanne Roberts & Thursday at the Russ' will be normal Prophetic Activation Nights, but we are looking for ideas to push us (if slightly) out of our comfort zone!  See the sidebar for addresses, maplinks, and times.

1st Time in East Cobb & West Cobb "Bring a Friend"

Great first time meeting in East Cobb!  A huge thank you to Suzanne Roberts for hosting.  There was such a sweetness of His Presence in worship and it just seemed so easy and natural to hear God and share with each other!  So next week, same time, same channel!

Tomorrow (Thursday) is our first "Bring a Friend" night at the Russ'.  Anyone who has come to a Prophetic Activation Group (either East or West Cobb) will act as part of the prophetic teams (three or four people each) and we're asking everyone to bring those you know who haven't been to the groups, but would like to receive a word.  They don't have to have any experience in the prophetic or even be saved, but we do require that this friend

• generally knows what they're getting into  
• comes of their own free will (no coerced)!
• is brought by someone they know who can debrief with them afterwards

Great Group!

Last night we had a great meeting at the Russ'! What an amazing group! The crazy thing is that we've had a different group every single time (six times so far) and each is never more than about 20! That's been great because the smaller its been the more powerful often it has been in empowering and encouraging them.  Overall we estimate there has been over 60 different people at the these groups.  Since it has been a different group each time with so many new people, in many ways, it's been 6 first-time meetings!  But we've been around the mountain enough on Thursdays to move forward!  Yeah! So we're going to start applying what we've been learning!

So, next Thursday (at the Russ' - information to the right) is..."BRING A FRIEND Night!" So...bring a friend! Bring someone who would like to receive prophecy.  They need to be someone who at least is aware of what is going to happen and wants it for themselves! (No ambushing, please! :)

Tuesday night, because it is the first time at Suzanne Roberts (again information to the right) we'll be continuing with a first-timer format!

Again as we grow, we want to bring in many different practical aspects of hearing God's Voice and sharing it with others.  So...we're very open to suggestions! Email us or Facebook us with your ideas!

P.S. This posting might be controversial to some, but I urge you to not react categorically, but ask the Lord what parts of this are true.  And remember, JESUS contradicted (apparently) Himself the time.

(Examples - Lk11:23 & Mk 9:40/Lk22:36 & Mt26:52/Jn3:17 & Jn5:30)

That didn't make what He was saying untrue or false. Anything but!!! But rather the Truth (which is not a logical construct, but a PERSON) is found in tension, within the bounds of the paradox.
